Source tracking nitrate in water is a relatively new science that makes use of water and nitrate isotope analysis. NZ Landcare Trust is delighted to host Professor Troy Baisden from the University of Waikato, for a webinar on the science of nitrate source tracking and how this technology can be used in NZ. Troy will present case studies where this technology has been used. He will also outline what different N sources can be detected, how samples can be collected, how much they cost and how this can be done on a catchment scale.
